When a Meeting Becomes a Partnership: HEYA and AMPLO Join Forces for Artists

A few months ago, during a Heya Session, we had the pleasure of welcoming Anaïs Pirenne from AMPLO as the evening's mentor. As is often the case at our events, conversations quickly went beyond a simple professional introduction. We discovered complementary visions, shared values, and above all, a common ambition: to help create a more supportive environment for artists and cultural professionals.
Today, that encounter has evolved into a partnership.
Different Missions, Shared Purpose
At HEYA, we are building Belgium's first professional community dedicated to the cultural and creative sector.
Our mission is to connect artists, organizations, and cultural professionals to foster meaningful encounters, collaborations, and career opportunities. Through our platform and events, we aim to make networking more accessible and empower everyone to grow their activity within a thriving ecosystem.
AMPLO, for its part, has been supporting artists and creative professionals for many years with essential aspects of their work: contracts, remuneration, legal frameworks, arts worker status, and administrative management.
While our approaches differ, they address the same reality: artists need both professional opportunities and human connections, as well as reliable support to pursue their careers under the best possible conditions.
This complementarity naturally led to our collaboration.

As part of this partnership, AMPLO is hosting HEYA in its Brussels offices for a defined period.
Beyond sharing a workspace, this proximity creates opportunities for ongoing exchanges, new ideas, and joint projects. It allows us to better understand each other's realities, bring our communities closer together, and imagine new initiatives that benefit artists.
